Guyot Designs provides innovative products for the outdoor gear market. This website was designed as part of their fresh new brand. I worked with another programmer to complete the site, which was templated around Guyot's existing backend system.


Photographer Stephanie Perenchio and author Jennifer Walton collaborated to create the content for this coffee table book about the Navy SEALs. The book was designed to capture the gritty, emotional quality of the photos and to communicate the sacrifices made by the SEALs and their families. Map collages by Laura Kottlowski.

Vasque is one of the most favored footwear brands in the outdoor sports industry, with more than 40 years of experience producing leading footwear. These websites were designed as potential evolutions of the Vasque brand.


These various designs were created as part of the new brand for Running Times after they were purchased by Rodale Publishers. The entire magazine was re-designed, from the logo to the layouts for all columns, departments, and features.


è Bella Designs is a fair-trade company who sells handmade, sustainable Peruvian rugs, pillows, and accessories. This website was created to showcase their collection of products and to share their core values. Written in PHP with MySql database.

Seeking a solution to itchy-but-warm woolen socks, in 1995 SmartWool pioneered a new market for performance products. Their soft, luxurious woolen products are top of the line. This corporate brochure was a translation of their lively brand personality, through use of fun photography, stitched threads, and typography.


Each year, the Boulder Chamber of Commerce hosts a dinner event to honor outstanding people in the community. This design includes custom watercolor artwork, with illustrated flowers and snowflakes.

To go along with their new brand image, the Spring 2007 catalog for outdoor gear and clothing company GoLite shifted to a new level. The new design included intricate typographic detail with information design and custom illustrations to showcase their line of products. Drawings by Pushpita Saha.


TrailRunner is the magazine that helps runners of all age and abilities experience the outdoors and achieve a healthier lifestyle through off-road running. This feature article design was created for their November 2006 issue, showcasing compelling photography from the Jackson Hole valley.


So Low's apparel collection was born in 2001 out of a high demand for low-rise intimates (to pair with low-rise jeans). Their ever-growing brand is now well known, with clients including Jessica Simpson, Kirsten Dunst, Gwen Stefani, and others. These hangtag designs were created to continue the brand's growth, and to appeal to their hip, chic client base.


For their 2006 catalog, Sierra Designs aimed to have a smaller piece which would direct consumers to their website. This mini 63-page catalog showed a selection of Sierra Designs Spring 2006 products.


The Hurricane Poster Project was a collaborative effort of the design community to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Katrina. This website was created to sell posters submitted by various designers. Written in PHP with MySql database and PayPal shopping cart system, it included an advanced administration backend system for tracking and shipping orders, and managing poster donations.

Working collaboratively with several other designers, we developed a line of tins which drew inspiration from Italian candy packaging and fruit crate labels from the 1920's and 1930's, using intricate, hand-crafted patterns, typography and banners. Each tin features an animal painting by artist Pat Redman.


Sierra Designs is renowned as one of the leading outdoor brands. For their 40th Anniversary, I designed and produced this 76-page catalog. The piece showcased all Sierra Designs Spring 2005 products, and set the brand voice for the coming year.


In 2005, the Boulder Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 100-year anniversary. This invitation and logo were some of many pieces of collateral I created to announce the occasion. Other collateral included large-scale banners, programs, displays and a mini website.
